Program
There are several options for groups seeking to grow through our challenge course.
- Activity for retreats – our staff can lead groups through group initiatives, low elements of high elements to enhance a group’s retreat experience.
- Day Events – groups can come up to camp for a day-long complete challenge course experience. Or, they you can choose to come for half-day event incorporating one or two challenge course options.
Our staff will work with your leaders prior to your arrival to help shape the day or weekend. This can help you get the most out of your time at Camp Shalom.
Leadership and Safety
Camp Shalom only uses trained and certified lead facilitators to guide high element initiatives. The summer staff is trained in group initiatives, group processing and low element facilitation. Our course is inspected annually by Challenge Options, Inc. to maintain industry standards. Camp Shalom is also a member of the Association of Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) and follows ACCT standards.
