Camp Shalom is a gift from God where peace is embraced.

Transformed by this experience, we are called and empowered to share this blessing

with others – campers, families, congregations and communities.

Purpose:

            The purpose is to be a community of many Christian traditions nurturing faith among God’s people.  

Camp Shalom promotes an attitude of living for the well being of others,  

and inspires people of all ages to live peacefully in the Spirit.

•  To provide an environment that encourages growth and relationship with self, others and God.

• To provide an opportunity to be in a place of natural beauty – to be alone, to be with others, to be quiet, to speak; to think; to dream, to work, to play.

• To provide intimate experiences with nature where emphasis is on learning, responsibility, enjoyment, and appreciation of God’s Creation.

• To be in partnership with congregations, and seek to support, strengthen, and grow congregational life.
