CAMP SHALOM ENDOWMENT: No other giving program could be easier, more important, or hurt less. The proper size endowment for Camp Shalom would be around $1.5 million. It is currently less than $50,000. At the correct size the endowment would help underwrite summer camp tuition assistance and most mid-size capital improvements and major repairs. It may take years to grow the endowment fund to where it is able to substantially help camp, but good things take time. Consider making Camp Shalom part of your legacy by assigning a portion of a life insurance policy or by making camp a part of your estate.

THRIVENT CHOICE: The Thrivent Choice program lets members recommend where some of the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans' charitable outreach funds go by directing Choice Dollars. Thrivent Choice continues to be a welcome funding source for Camp Shalom Christian Camp. Contact a representative to learn more.
