Assistant Counselor Application

Students entering grades 11–12 are invited to serve as Assistant Counselors (ACs) for two unforgettable weeks at Camp Shalom. ACs volunteer alongside our counseling staff by supporting campers and modeling Christ-centered leadership. It’s a chance to deepen your faith, grow in responsibility, and make a real impact, all while having fun, building friendships, and enjoying everything you love about camp.

Summer Staff Application

Spend your summer making a difference! Camp Shalom is looking for caring, energetic, and faith-filled leaders to join our 2026 team. Whether you’re guiding campers as a counselor, leading activities like archery, canoeing, crafts, nature, or high ropes, or supporting behind the scenes, you’ll help create a safe, joy-filled, Christ-centered experience for every camper.

SUMMER STAFF POSITIONS

LEADERSHIP

Camp Shalom Leadership Team sets the tone for the summer. They support staff, guide programs, and help ensure camp runs smoothly while keeping Christ at the center of everything we do. As mentors, problem-solvers, and encouragers, they help create a community where campers and counselors alike can thrive.

SUPPORT STAFF

Camp Shalom Program Coordinators, Leads, and Camphands bring our activities to life. They guide campers through skills, spark curiosity, and help create a memorable experience. As leaders in their specialty areas, they create safe, engaging, and joy-filled moments that help campers grow in confidence and faith.

COUNSELORS

Camp Shalom Counselors are the heart of our ministry. They serve as leaders for the cabin, foster relationships, and model the love of Christ in everything they do. If you love Jesus, love working with kids, and love being outdoors, this role is for you. You’ll spend your summer creating moments that help campers grow in faith, confidence, and joy.
